The Three Musketeers is a upcoming German/American film based on the novel of the same name written by Alexandre Dumas Pere. The hot-headed young D'Artagnan along with three formerly legendary but now down on their luck Musketeers must unite and prevent a beautiful double agent and her villainous employer from seizing the French throne and engulfing Europe in war. The movie features Logan Lerman as D'Artagnan, Matthew Macfadyen as Athos, Ray Stevenson as Porthos and Luke Evans as Aramis with Orlando Bloom and Juno Temple in supporting roles. The film is scheduled for release on October 14, 2011 in 3D.
