Brave is an upcoming computer animated movie produced in 3-D by Pixar and will be distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. The film is directed by Brenda Chapman and Mark Andrews and story written by Brenda Chapman and Irene Mecchi. The animated movie is set for release on June 22, 2012.

The official synopsis of the film is as follows, "Since ancient times, stories of epic battles and mystical legends have been passed through the generations across the rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland. In Brave, a new tale joins the lore when the courageous Merida (Kelly Macdonald) confronts tradition, destiny and the fiercest of beasts. Merida is a skilled archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus (Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (Emma Thompson). Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin (Kevin McKidd), surly Lord Macintosh (Craig Ferguson) and cantankerous Lord Dingwall (Robbie Coltrane). Merida’s actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom, and when she turns to an eccentric old Witch (Julie Walters) for help, she is granted an ill-fated wish. The ensuing peril forces Merida to discover the meaning of true bravery in order to undo a beastly curse before it’s too late."

The Smurfs, also known as The Smurfs Movie, is an upcoming live-action/CGI-animated family film directed by Raja Gosnell, written by J. David Stem and David N. Weiss and stars Neil Patrick Harris, Jayma Mays, Hank Azaria and Sofia Vergana. The voice for the animated characters is performed by Jonathan Winters, Katy Perry, Jeff Foxworthy, Paul Reubens, Alan Cumming and George Lopez. The animated film is produced by Jordan Kerner and will be distributed by Columbia Pictures.

Set in the Middle Ages, the evil wizard Gargamel (Hank Azaria) and his cat, Azrael, discover the Smurfs' village and chase them into some woods. The Smurfs get scattered and Clumsy Smurf wanders into a "forbidden" grotto and some of the other Smurfs follow. But Papa Smurf just warns about the grotto, where all Smurfs should never go into this little cave. Since it's also a blue moon, a magical portal within the grotto transports them into present-day Central Park in New York, by the magic ring where Gargamel wearing it's powers. They take shelter with a married couple and try to find a way back to their village before Gargamel finds them.

Mars Needs Moms is an upcoming 3D computer-animated Sci-Fi film based on the book by Berkeley Breathed. It is set to be released on March 11, 2011 by Walt Disney Pictures is directed by Simon Wells. The film stars both Seth Green and newcomer Seth Dusky (voice) as the main character Milo, and is produced by Robert Zemeckis and his studio ImageMovers Digital. Nine-year-old Milo (voiced-over by Seth Dusky) finds out just how much he needs his mom when she's nabbed by Martians who plan to steal her "mom-ness" for their own young. Milo's quest to save his mom involves stowing away on a spaceship, navigating an elaborate, multi-level planet and taking on the alien nation and their leader, the Supervisior. With the help of a tech-savvy, underground earthman named Gribble and his bionic underground pet named Two-Cat and a rebellious Martian girl called Ki, Milo just might find his way back to his mom — in more ways than one.

Hop is an upcoming live-action and computer animated film from Universal Studios and Illumination Entertainment and will be in theaters on April 1, 2011. The film will be directed by Tim Hill and stars Hugh Laurie, James Marsden, Kaley Cuoco, Chelsea Handler, Elizabeth Perkins and David Hasselhoff as himself and Russell Brand as Easter Bunny. The movie tells of E.B.
